S.O.I. Gear was founded by Jon Walker, a USMC Infantry combat veteran who started blacksmithing as a teenager. After high school he started forging titanium, zirconium, copper, bronze, and a myriad of carbon and stainless steels.
His passion for industrial design and manufacturing led to pursuing traditional machining and then multi axis CNC machining.
Together, they have decades of culminated experience pursuing excellence in design and craftsmanship.
The goal of S.O.I. Gear is to bring precision machining with an elegant aesthetic to a variety of items.
